| CloudFone Taps Enrique Gil as Endorser |
As they celebrate their 3rd year in business, mobile device company CloudFone signed film and TV star Enrique Gil as their newest brand endorser. Gil will join Xian Lim as the company’s current celebrity endorsers. To kickstart his partnership with the company, Gil recently joined the last leg of CloudFone’s mall tour, which ended in SM Megamall and Waltermart North EDSA last June.
Cloudfone Philippines President Eric Yu said that they chose Gil to be their next endorser for he embodies the qualities of their youthful and tech-savvy customers. Aside from Gil, Lim and Jason Abalos have been on a nationwide tour for Cloudfone and they have covered 113 stores in 30 malls in 19 cities.
Gil started his acting career in 2008 in the shows I Love Betty La Fea and Pieta. From then on, he became a regular on several ABS-CBN shows. However, he became a household name when he played the role of Xander opposite Lisa Soberano in “Forevermore”. He has also acted in movies such as “The Reunion”, “She’s The One”, “The Trial”, and “Just the Way You Are”. He also has a dance album, King of the Gil, under his name.
As part of CloudFone’s giving back, the anniversary celebration also included a special price-off on select new and current CloudFone and CloudPad line-up of devices. The discount promo that features reduced prices for 10 of the brand’s tablets and smartphone models by as much as 25%. CloudFone also made their tablets more affordable, by reducing the price of their CloudPad range, which boasts clear and large displays, Intel processors and innovations such as crossover technology.
