| Epson Partners with Photogs For A Cause |
Earlier this year, Photogs For A Cause (PFAC) partnered with Epson in their visit to Barangay Buscalan in Kalinga province in order to provide a special gift to the townsfolk. Aside from bringing staple necessities, their main mission is to print photos for these people who had never owned one before.
PFAC founder Tracey Heppner said that it’s not the first time that people have visited the place for photographs. However, when visitors say that they will come back once the prints have been done, they simply don’t. Thus, they tied up with Epson to bring an L800 ink tank system photo printer to instantly produce high-quality pictures of the residents.
Heppner added that they were touched by the stories of the locals, including a number of kids who can’t seem to have enough of their photos being taken and an old man who has never seen a photo of himself. However, what touched her the most is an old woman who has cancer. Upon learning that she can receive her photos immediately, the old woman cried.
Meanwhile, Epson Philippines Marketing Communications and Public Relations Head Donna V. Ferro said that there is no measure to the joy that they feel especially that they’ve been a part in giving a simple yet very special gift that will be kept forever by the residents of Barangay Buscalan.
