Both prepaid and postpaid subscribers of Smart Communications can now access Instagram for free without additional data charges.
Prepaid subscribers will be able to enjoy this feature for up to 30MB per day by registering to any prepaid promos, such as the All Text 20, the Unli Call & Text 30, the All in 99, and the Mega 250 among many others.

Meanwhile, those who are subscribed to any Smart Surf Plus Plan will instantly be able to enjoy the free Instagram for 30 days. The free Instagram offer is part of the company’s effort to help its subscribers have access to the best digital services and most meaningful innovations. This will also help increase the usage of Instagram among Filipinos.
Likewise, this initiative is part of PLDT’s aggressive campaign to have their wireless units grow its mobile data business which grew 19% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2015 while netting Php2.2 billion in revenues during the period. Smart’s mobile data traffic also increased by 188% as more than 21 terabytes of data has been exchanged among their subscribers.
