| LG Electronics and Niccolo Cosme Work Together for “See the Greatness in You” Project |
Last May 2015, renowned photographer Niccolo Cosme and his team gathered together at the Aguinaldo Shrine to put up their makeshift studio. However, there were no DSLR cameras available.
Instead, all they can use is the camera of the LG G4 to take pictures as part of the “See the Greatness in You” project by the said tech company.
Cosme took portraits of about 50 students that day and returned to Kawit to hand the children their own portraits. The portraits were also displayed during the grand launch of the LG G4 at Solaire Theater.
In a word, the LG G4’s camera features are remarkable. It has a built-in expert mode for adjustable settings such as white balance, aperture, exposure and shutter speed. Photos can also be saved as RAW files to keep it untouched from editing. Without question, it is a smartphone that is ideal for Cosme’s standards particularly in photography.
Cosme started his in photography in 2001 and his works have already been showcased in New York, Vietnam, Macau, and Cambodia to name a few. In 2007, he started Project Headshot Clinic, where he shoots profile photos of friends and celebrities for free to promote awareness and significant causes. A self-professed “dream-enabler”, he inherited his charitable heart from his mother who opens their Kawit, Cavite home for children every summer to offer refresher courses.
With a great phone, a great photographer, and a great cause in tow, LG has succeeded in bringing out the greatness in those students.
