| Xiaomi Launches Mi 4i in the Philippines |
Xiaomi will launch its flagship Mi 4i smartphone to the Philippines via the Lazada Philippines website starting July 29 for Php9,799. After which, it will be made available in retail outlets all over the country.
First launched in India, the dark gray Xiaomi Mi 4i features a 5” 1080p Full HD display with a sleek unibody design. It also has a high-capacity 3120mAh battery which can power the device for up to 36 hours on a single full charge. The Mi 4i also has a pixel density of 441 PPI while its Sunlight Display automatically adjusts the contrast of each pixel for clear images even under direct sunlight.
Furthermore, the Mi 4i smartphone from Xiaomi carries a slim yet powerful motherboard from Foxconn. In it is a 2nd-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor, 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of on-board flash storage. It will also run Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The Mi 4i also has a front camera and back camera of 5MP and 13 MP respectively. The front camera has an 80-degree wide angle lens for selfies while the rear camera is equipped with HDR capture.
The 4G dual SIM, dual standby Xiaomi Mi 4i will also be available through a postpaid plan with Smart Communications. Subscribers can register their interest to get the Mi 4i from Smart here. After which, Smart stores and offline retailers will start selling the device on August 1.
