Each of the four NAIA terminals now has a backhaul capacity of up to 1 gigabit per second, which can provide reliable connection to up to 3,000 users. Earlier this year, Smart WiFi has been rolled out to regional airports in the Philippines, which cater to around 15 million passengers in 2015. The airports included in the rollout are the Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao, the Laguindingan Airport in Misamis Oriental, the Clark International Airport, the General Santos International Airport and the Laoag International Airport to name a few.

Smart WiFi is also present in seaports in Batangas and Mindoro. In the future, this carrier-grade Internet service will also be unveiled in the airports of Puerto Princesa, Tagbilaran, and Caticlan. Train stations and other high traffic areas in Metro Manila will also be covered by this service courtesy of Smart and PLDT. This initiative is done under a Memorandum of Agreement between PLDT/Smart and the Department of Transportation.
