| Kata Philippines Launches Kata Box for Php2,999, Comes with FREE Game Controller |
Kata Digital Philippines, one of the regional electronics company in the local scene, recently launched another unique product that will surely complement your television at home, the Kata Box.
The Kata Box is a TV Box or set-top box that is based on the Android operating system. It is a small square box with rounded corners and measures about 107mm on the sides and 25mm in thickness. At the heart of the device is an Amlogic S805 system-on-chip, which has a quad core processor clocked up to 1.5GHz each and ARM Mali-450MP2 as the graphics processing unit. There is also a 1GB of RAM for multitasking and built-in storage of 8GB.
It may be small in size, but it is rich in terms of ports and connectivity features. It has two full-size USB port that can accommodate peripherals as well as external storage devices, such as a flash drive and HDD. It has an HDMI port for high resolution connection to your flat-screen TV and another A/V port if in case you are still using older television system. In terms of connecting online, you can opt to use the WiFi or through wired connection via Ethernet port.
In general, the Kata TV Box transforms your ordinary TV to a smart TV. It is now available for pre-order on all Kata kiosks and stores nationwide for only Php2,999 plus it comes with a FREE gaming controller.
